It would be really handy if there was a way to see that a node has a incoming connection (chop, dat, etc) from outside the current network. The dashed lines showing connections go into a component, but once you go into that component, there is no way to see where outside influences are going. Perhaps a dashed line arrow with a floating label identifying the source. Definitely not critical, but I think it may be an useful UI addition.
