Routing Ableton audio into Touchdesigner without latency not possible?

I’m very new to Touchdesigner.

If I understood it correctly it is not possible to route audio from Ableton into Touchdesigner without any latency like mentioned here:

So no need to buy an audio interface with a built-in loopback feature because null latency is not possible?

I would like to see in real-time what sounds can do to visuals buecause it seems a lot of work to record, export in Ableton, open the .wav in Touchdesigner and experiment. Seems easier to get the audio in real time into Touchdesigner.
