I am trying to recreate a video from instances in a grid. I would like to scale these instances according to the colour values of the reference video converted to black and white (white = x, black = 2x, for example…).
Is there any way to scale the instances in a grid to achieve this effect? I have tried corrupting the UV, but it does not work for me! In this example, I would do the black boxes 2 times bigger than the others… is it possible?…
the reference image seems to have a bit more going on than just scaling. Scaling for instances can be done via the instance scale parameter though.
Is the issue that it is scaling uniformly for you?
I’m sorry, maybe I didn’t explain myself well…
What I want is for the black squares to take up twice as much space as the ones with patterns (based on the reference image that creates the patterns). How darker the part of the reference image it is, the patterns will be bigger; and how brighter, smaller. That’s my goal.
