Hi, TD noob here. I’ve got an interactive installation running TouchDesigner(commercial), and wanted to use TouchPlayer (Commercial) to run the installation, but I realized that an important function wasn’t working. In Designer, hitting the “4” keystroke will turn off the LEDs. But now in Player, that keystroke isn’t going through. Is there a way to solve this ? Thank you !

are you using the Keyboard In DAT or the Keyboard In CHOP? Have you specified the panel that should capture the keystrokes? Can you share a bit more background on how this is setup?

It’s a keyboard in CHOP
Here’s a screenshot, the keyboard in is at the root of the project. Is there a way to expose this parameter so it goes through in touch player commercial ? Thanks for your help !

just trying it with a very simple setup, I can’t replicate the issue. Can you share an example that shows the behaviour? Also what operating system are you on and what TouchDesigner build are you using.

@snaut It’s true I can see how it should work really easily. I’m using version 2022.32120 on Windows 10 Pro 22H2
I noticed that in the example you sent, the keystroke was inside the container. Do you think this would have an impact on the functionality of the keystroke in player mode ?
This project is running in perform mode in touch designer, and the keystroke always works.

I think it references…nothing ? I did another test in my installation and it seems like it’s working on touch player. The only thing that I did differently compared to last time, is that I didn’t disconnect the Touch Designer Commercial license, and only enabled my Touch Player Commercial license. Could this be a cause ? I’ll keep investigating

can you perhaps post a .toe file with everything stripped from your network apart from a small part that demonstrates the keyboard issue you’re experiencing ?
