Separate table rows with semicolons

Hey everyone,
Newbie question over here:

I am handling a pretty big database, extracting the names of each row. The problem I have is that some cells have multiple names separated by semicolons.

Would it be possible to read through the table and create new rows each time it finds a semicolon?

With Python
– use text.split(‘;’) to make, for each cell, a list separating names : name
– use table.appendRow(name[i]) with a for loop to add rows
