Sharing animation curves

Hello,

I am using the Animation COMP (Play mode = Use Input Timer, Unit = Fraction) with a Timer CHOP.

I use only one channel.

I would like to create another Timer CHOP and another Animation COMP with only one channel too.

But I would like channels of both Animation COMPs to use the same curve without having to copy paste each time I update the curve.

Is there any way to share a curve (keyframes, curve types, etc…) via DAT or other hacks?

I looked inside the Animation COMP and there are several DAT and the Animation COMP does not seem to have options to point to a shared ones.

A solution that involves python scripts would be ok.

Hi @sdtouchdd,

If the data of the 2 Animation COMPs will be the same, then I’d recommend setting its “Play Mode” to Output Full Range and use a Lookup CHOP to play it back with Timers. You could even use a single Lookup for multiple Timers.
