Shear / Slant Rectangle

Hi there,

I’m probably approaching this the wrong way, being still quite a beginner, but I’m literally just trying to create a rectangle shape that’s slanted / sheared (like how one would do in Illustrator). Just spent an hour unsuccessfully searching for ressources on the matter.

Is there a simple way to do this?

Are you doing this in SOP or TOP? In TOP, you want to look for cornerPinTOP

Hey,

there is also the Twist SOP which has a Shear option.
A SOP implementation of the Cornerpin TOP is in the Palette under Mapping called “cornerPinSOP”
