Skip from base to base / Midi LPD8 MK2 Programs mode mapping

1. I have created multiple “Base” COMPs, each containing different visuals. When I run the full composition with all the visuals active, my computer freezes. I need to switch between different Base COMPs and enter their compositions without going through the main composition. Is there a way to do this efficiently?

2. I recently bought the MIDI LPD8 MK2. Does anyone know how I can map the other program modes? So far, I’ve only been able to map it in “Note” mode. This means I’m limited to just 8 buttons and 8 sliders. I need to program more controls, but I haven’t found a solution. Any ideas?

Hi @lumaia86,

for efficiently switching between scenes, have a look at Palette/Tools/SceneChanger.

On your second question - are you using the Midi In Map CHOP or the Midi In CHOP? I would recommend just using the Midi In CHOP and dealing with the channels as they come in raw.
