Smooth fade in and out on switching videos

At the moment I am working on experience where with gestures (MediaPipe) I am increasing a count to trigger the switch of different movie files. I wished to have a smooth transition between files - the videos fading one in to the next - but could not yet find a solution for this.

Does someone would recommend me a direction so I can have smooth transitions between videos?

Actually I could find a solution by realizing that the index on the switch progress in decimals. Activating “Blend between inputs” on the Switch TOP and a Filter CHOP made the job.
