I’m planning on teaching a paid TouchDesigner workshop in Maryland (mainly because the TD community there is non-existent), and I’d like to bring some creative tech classes to the area. Right now, I’m only thinking of 1 class to see how it goes, but I’m not sure if I need to buy an educational license just for that class. Does anyone know if I need to buy a license or if I can just use the non-commercial version? It’s a beginner’s course, so I don’t mind the resolution limits.
Hey, thanks for your enthusiasm for teaching TouchDesigner! You are free to use the non-commercial license for this purpose. There is never a case where an Educational license is required. Its only there as an option for a more full featured license for people qualify for it.
