SOLVED: 2021.10330 the word NORMAL appears in various dialogs

It looks like it could be coming from some third-party tools installed on your machine. Can’t reproduce here.

For example, when using the Nvidia Experience FPS counter, the FPS count appears a bit everywhere.

Are you using something like FRAPS or similar maybe ?

SOLVED!

It was due to the G-Sync status OSD from Nvidia Control Panel. Here is where this can be toggled:
