Ok I found the solution to my specific problem, for some reason Daslight on Mac, whenever opened, occupied all the addresses on the 6454 port (ArtNet). I tried opening TD first, setting the DMX In to ArtNet which also resulted with TD occupying the port first, so then Daslight if opened later, couldn’t connect either.
Solution was:

- Open TD first, put the DMX In CHOP and set the local address FIRST (127.0.0.1 works fine, just as long as its not empty field, its fine), and do not touch the local address field after this.

- Open Daslight (in my case atleast), and in the ArtNet settings make sure that broadcast is OFF, then set the IP address to the same as the local address that you set in TD previously.
Keep in mind that you must not change the local address in TD after these steps, if you do, port will remain occupied by the other software thats sending the ArtNet signal, and you will have to close the software that’s sending the signal into TD, and repeat the steps written above (it shouldn’t be necessary to close TD).
