SOLVED: Hangs on triggering Audio Play CHOP on Apple Silicon

Operating System: MacOS Venture 13.3.1 (22E261)
System: Macbook Pro M1 Pro
Build: 2022.32660, 2022.32120

Not sure if this is the intended behavior but if I add an Audio Play CHOP and press Trigger in the parameter window, the next time I press Trigger it will hang TouchDesigner. I reproduced this in both build 2022.32660 and 2022.32120. I found this while doing the DATs_for_Scripting tutorial on the derivative site. It doesn’t crash it just hangs indefinitely so it doesn’t produce a crash report in Console.

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce so far.

Is it happening in the default project ? With the default audio file ?

Ah, seems like it was solved by a restart of my Mac. Sorry for the noise.

Glad to hear you’ve got it going again. A Spin Report may have been generated in Console, in the Spin Reports section - if you have one there for TouchDesigner it would be helpful if you could attach it here or e-mail it to support@derivative.ca, referencing this forum thread - it might help us avoid the problem in the future.
