[SOLVED] Ndiin TOP Not Receiving Stream

Hi all,

I’m starting to play with NDI (which is awesome) but I’ve run into a seemingly simple issue with trying to stream by video over NDI. While the ndiout TOP is working fine, the receiving end does not show any sources under the drop-down menu. I know that sometimes the firewall will stop the stream from going anywhere, but I have disabled and tried it during that time to no avail. Is there anything I’m missing?

hi,

if you are using multiple computers, they need to be on the same sub network. NDI Can’t go accros different subnets without specifying it

Same network and same computer at the moment.

just to be sure : is TD running ? (ie : timeline not paused or cooking disabled)

Yep, it is functioning fully.

Figured it out! Don’t use a VPN and NDI at the same time.
