SOLVED: Regression bug: pointfilein TOP shows bad artifacts in additional EXR layers

Hello,
with the version 2023.11340 I encountered a regression bug/error.

I am using a pointfilein TOP to load a second EXR layer, a shadow AOV pass.

Half a year ago with an older TouchDesigner version this was working.

Now I get some strange artifacts, see screenshot attached.

Expected: there is a shadow pass visible of a 3D rendered object

I will now downgrade to 2022.35320
But the downgrade was not successful, see here: How to downgrade a Touchdesigner project after regression bugs

Is there any fix/workaround to this issue?

This is fixed in 2023.11510

Hi, is there a way to catch this issue before a new TD release next time using an integration test / E2E test?
