SOLVED: Vulcan device error (ramp top - top to chop)

hello there!!

I have the free version of touch designer

TD started to crash with a VULCAN DEVICE ERROR while using a TOP TO node.
from a ramp top to a chop.

  • first I raised the TdrDelay to 60
    but problem kept going.
  • second I raised TdrDelay to 120 and TdrDdiDelay to 120.

and the problem presisted.
I have the last updated version of TD and also my windows 10 is uptodate.

do you have any suggestions of how to fix ?
Or is just that my CPU is not strong enough?

Can you share your GPU driver version ?

Can you share the TouchDesigner Build number you are using ?

PROCESSOR: Intel(R) Coreā„¢ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz
INSTALLATED RAM : 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
SISTEM TYPE: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Some info is missing.

Do you have any GPU installed on that machine ? Nvidia ? AMD ? or only integrated graphics ?

Is the machine of a specific brand / have a model number that I could use to go over the full specs ?

Can you share your GPU driver version ?

Can you share the TouchDesigner Build number you are using ?

Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620
driver version: 30.0.101.1122
touch designer is: TouchDesigner.2022.32660
