This is coming from Windows. If you turn off ‘Show visual feedback when touching the screen’ in the Windows ‘Pen and Touch’ settings, it goes away.
Nope. That setting is off and I still have above behavior
I also only see it when a TD panel is shown, the win desktop doesn’t show the white square
Hmm, it went away when I turned it off, comes back when I turn it on. We are certainly not drawing that, so it’s something external. It does seem like Windows decides to paint different overlays based on the app.
Let me see if there is anything we can control via WinAPI or a manifest setting
Which settings dialog are you changing it in? The ‘new’ dialog has one that doesn’t seem to turn it off, the old style one does.
