Does anybody know the way to make somethign like Cache TOP, but for audio, where you can record small audio segment and then append another segments to it? Or to insert another segment to recirded by specifying “insert index”?
The idea to use cache TOP with audio to make audiovisual loops “on fly”.
I’d go max/msp or python… but maybe there is a way. What about record CHOP? What is it missing?

I think best bet is Record CHOP.
Its an older CHOP, but has lots of options for setting the interval over which you wish to record, whether or not it automatically grows longer, and options for overwriting when it loops around.

But I think with this can not be achieved, so that at a constant length of the recorded interval, new pieces added to the end due to the shift of the fragment…like in Cash TOP
