SOP Particle Force Turbulence Equivalence

I try to replicate a similaire system form old project.

I was really happy with the movement of the Turbulence Force of the Particle SOP.

I just curious about the math behind, is it a noise ? If yes which one ?

I just try Pop Noise with curl3d, noise… But it not look like the same :sweat_smile:

I believe that the Particle SOP is using a basic Perlin noise internally.
With a bit of tweaking, the closest I could get to replicating basic turbulence in the Particle POP was by using Curl 3D noise combined with some velocity damping on the particles.
