Hello, I have a SpaceNavigator 3d controller made by 3dConnexion (3dConnexion.com). It is a 6 axis 3d controller that is mostly used for 3d and Cad apps. I would really like to use this device with Touch Designer but at this moment their is not a joystick driver available for this device. 3dConnexion has an SDK to write custom drivers, and a few people have attempted to write a joystick driver but with little success (Especially WinXP64). From reading these posts I thought there might be someone capable of writing a driver here. If the Derivative team would be interested in the job I think that 3dConnexion would send them a SpacePilot or Navigator to be able to write a driver. If 3dConnexion won’t, I would buy a SpacePilot for a person to write a driver. Also at the 3dConnexion forum there were multiple people offering money for the driver. If there is a person on this forum who is capable of writing a driver for a USB controller device and is interested in using a SpacePilot or making some cash, please contact me and or visit the 3dConnexion website and forum.
