Stoner does not affect the whole projector output

Hi, I may be not understanding how stoner is supposed to work, but when I adjust an image for projection, using keystone or similar, the actual image looks straight, but the projector still projects the areas outside the keystones image and these are bright and visible, even if I composite the output with black background.

Is there a way to adjust the whole projector output and not just an image within it?

Thanks!

Hi @retone,

could you share a toe illustrating the issue?
For me it all seems to work

Hi - just going back through some old messages I had not replied to. I have loaded up the same project and tried it using a different projector and the areas outside the resized stoner area are not showing like they did when i ran this using another projector. I can only assume the other projector was not able to do blacks very well. I have attached a picture of my stoner which looks similar to yours. In the other projector the area that is checkerboard was coming out with no image but definitely lit up.

Hi @retone,

the checkboard you see in the back is just an indication of alpha - if you see the checkerboard that means the texture has low or no alpha in that area.
You can change that behavior in the Preferences Dialog under the “TOPs” page:
