First of all… love the software! As a programmer I really like how TD’s feels and some cool decisions!!
I’m new to TD – but I’m a long time lurker. I’ve been recently wanting to sync TD’s time to another program, Pangolin Beyond. I’m using Art-net for that, but can’t get it to work, so perhaps someone on here might be able to help!
For context, I’m doing all of this on Windows, and on my own computer, so nothing is over the network.
First thing I do is set-up Art-net over the Beyond side ( I did use standard broadcast and got the same results ):
I then verify that it is working using a software called “Artnet view”. which it is.
Then I open TD’s, use a DMX IN CHOP, set localaddress to the same that I set up above ( localhost ). And that’s as far as I can get as I see no data on any of the channels.
I’ve tried using the Artnet DAT, and I can see Beyond, but I can’t see it on the DMX IN CHOP:
I’m unsure why ip is 192.168.1.131 as resmon reports Beyond being bound to 6454 on the loopback interface.
Apologies if I’m missing something stupid, but I’ve checked and tried everything ( Most posts on here as well ). I’m sure that this might be related to [SOLVED] DMX In ArtNet not working (MacOS) - port issue - Bugs - TouchDesigner forum.
