table -a r -f(b) allows to specify the location of the insert by row name. Is it somehow possible to insert after a row index?
not via command line yet, but in the latest build, the RMB menu in a table view will allow you to append rows.
tabadd, tabdel type commands are also on my list of things to do, just not with very high priority.
