if I have a videoin TOP and turn on a camera, shortly thereafter my videoin will list the additional camera as a possible input device.
This doesn’t seem to happen with joysticks. I’ve had to plop down an additional joystick chop to get it the pre-existing joystick chops to refresh, and even then they lost the setting they had (i.e. they were set to some device, which on the new list ended up in second place, and for some reason the pre-existing joysticks listed a blank source field after the list got refreshed, forcing me to re-select the old joystick).
