Hello! i’m trying to learn how to use a kinect with touchdesigner. how do i view the output in full screen? when i click on performer mode, my screen is blank.

on your project, zoom out up to the root and you should see a Perform COMP (which is basically a special Window COMP).
This is the COMP that goes fullscreen when you switch to perform mode.
Attach (drag and drop) the OP you need to see fullscreen to this Perform COMP.

thanks for breaking it down for me. when i set it up like you did it, it works, but when i have everything set up inside project1 box and i link it to perform, it is still blank. do i have to build everything fully zoomed out?
this is because project1 is a container, you need to tell it what part of the inside network you want to display

- The 2 TOPs are inside the Project1 container
- zoom out to see the container COMP (project1) and select it
- in the “look” tab set the parameter “background TOP” to the TOP inside the project you want to display
