Syphon2Td : Syphon to Touch In !

Hi there !

Here’s a little tool to stream a syphon server on a mac to a touch in TOP :

johanlescure.fr/Syphon2Td/Syphon2TdV0.1.zip

Just fill in the IP port and choose the syphon server you want to stream.
It’s a very beta release so please report any bug !

For thoses who want to do high definition streaming without frame-dropping, you’ll have to tune mac os x’s network buffer size. Follow this article :

Very exciting. I’ve recently added a feature to the Touch In/Out protocol that allows for it to send HAP Q frames, which reduce the bandwidth requirements by about 6:1. It’ll show up in the upcoming experimental. If you are interested in can share the new TouchOutHeader format with you, and source code to use the GPU to compress DXT5 YCoCg frames (HAP Qs underlaying compression format).
