hi,
just installed td 0.88, but it won’t start, while 0.77 is starting without any problems.
my system is a notebook, samsung np700g7a, i7 2.2ghz, 16gb ram, ati hd 6970m.
just saying, touch has encountered an error and must close.
is there anything i can do?
i can’t open the dump file, but could provide it if someone would like to take a look at it, or with which program can i check it myself.
thanks a lot in advance and also wanted to say that i am following touch for a while now and with the new version i really got hooked on trying it out a little bit more, but for now its a big bummer to not even being able to open it.
hi,
just installed the whole win7 new, with newest driver and no other software installed, but no luck, still same problem.
i also checked it on my other desktop, running an older xeon x5355 2.66 2xquadcore, with 16gb ram and quadro fx5600 and it didn’t even give me an error but immediately bsod.
looks like the new td 0.88 doesn’t like me. pretty sad though as it really looks amazing and i wanted to play around with my kinect and infrared cameras.

Catalyst Control Center Version 2011.0628.2340.40663
do you know of any version before that may run on the AMD Radeon HD 6970M, or does anyone else run the same graphic with TD 0.88?
actually in the last line of catalyst information it tells you the driver.
in my example:
Catalyst Control Center Version 2011.0628.2340.40663
the 2011.06… means that it was driver version 11.06, so very outdated, and when i tried to install a newer one from amd website, the installer just told me that my hardware is not compatible.
so thx a lot to malcolm and the link for the guru site, where i downloaded driver 14.02 and now everything works fine, at least after only 20 min trying.
glad that worked out and again a huge thanks for the fast replies and suggestions.
