When the Textport window is small relatively, the mouse focus position is misplaced.

TD all 2022,2023 versions has this bug. It is normal when I adjust the width of textport window to big.
BTW, I often copy code from web pages into DAT op, because indentation on web pages uses spaces and TD uses the TAB key so I have to change the indentation of each line to TAB format.

what hardware (nvidia or internal) are you running on? OS version? Are all drivers up to date? What’s your monitor’s resolution and are you using DPI scaling?
Changing the Textport size should have no impact on the rendering of the text.
Regarding tabs vs spaces - while we use tabs as a standard, the requirement is only that indentation in scripts must be consistent. Personally I usually edit scripts in an external editor which comes with functionality to convert easily between tabs and spaces. You can set what editor to use by specifying it’s location in Edit>Preferences>DATs.

thank you! Found the bug: the scaling of the textport messes up when there are many text dats open in it.
