on win11 running touchdesigner 2022.35320 and 35280
TD crashes randomly the whole system. screen turns black and computer reboots. it’s seemingly irrelevant for how long TD runs or how much it has to calculate, even in the startup file. I’ve got multiple PCs with the same build and they all crash.
have run benchmarks to rule out that the GPU causes problems, updated drivers and still nothing.
my specs:
Nvidia RTX A4000
i7-12700 KF
64GB RAM
any idea on how to proceed?

you say this is happening on multiple computers? I’m assuming there are no dmp files created. Anything of interest in the windows event log for the time this happens?

the event viewer logs: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

not sure this is a dmp file that is created by TouchDesigner so might be difficult for us to tell what is happening. We’ll have a look and let you know.

Hi, I have similar issues on 35280 and 35320. Sometimes the whole systems crashes and shows the windows blue screen and restarts the PC.

Are all Windows updates applied and the latest Nvidia graphics drivers installed. Bluescreens are rare and often a driver/device issue.
Something to try is to disconnect all external devices, USBs, etc, and see if it continues to bluescreen.
