TD doesn't like hot plug MIDI devices

I noticed that every time I connect a MIDI device with TD open and the MIDI in CHOP selected for the device ID I’m connecting, TD doesn’t automatically recognizes that it’s plugged and I need to restart the project in order to use it.

I wonder if this is normal behavior and if there is a workaround so I don’t need to restart the project every time I plug my devices.

You can also trigger the “Check Mididevices” buttons.

It doesn’t help. Also weird that the log shows it’s receiving data from device 3, but the MIDI in CHOP still shows ‘could not open the MIDI interface’ warning.
