Tdableton 11+ is not working anymore

Hi guys I always used touchdesigner with Ableton live 11 on a windows 10 machine without problems until today.

now i try to open up TD+Ableton but it doesn’t connect and Ableton doesn’t recognize TD as control surface anymore.

the only thing that I have done is that I copied the Tdableton folder to another laptop (MAC) of a friend, who was having issues to install Tdableton so i decided to copy Tdableton remote scripts folder from Ableton and give it to him and he was able to complete the setup

But when i opened up Tdableton on my laptop is not working anymore nor Ableton recognize TD as control surface in the midi preferences.

I tried to uninstall both softwares and reinstall it, I tried to change both Ableton live and TD versions but i still receive the same error, I also upgraded Live from 11 to 12 but nothing changed.

So i decided to try with live 9 and it works tho. but i still have this problem on the 11+ Tdableton version

Can anyone help me? let me know if you need more details

What TouchDesigner build are you using?

Your problem is almost certainly with the installation of TDAbleton. This is the trickiest part because Ableton Live doesn’t really have a native technique for installing something like TDAbleton.

Make sure you have the latest TouchDesigner build (there was a problem with the previous official) and if it still doesn’t work, send any error messages you get when installing. Be sure to closely follow the instructions in the wiki.

thank you for the reply. I uploaded to last touchdesigner build and reinstalled Ableton and now everything seems to work, thank you for the suggestion. i’ll write here any other eventual errors as i use it
