I’m playing with TDableton and I’ve hit a wall trying to use the abletonLevel on the master channel of Ableton. I can use the abletonLevel on other channels and receive volume values, but not on the master. Here are the settings I’m using.
I’m also using abletonMidi, but I have no problem there. I’ve tested with a couple different Ableton projects. Anyone have any idea what could be going on here?
Also a separate, but related question. Is there any way to get the waveform direct from ableton?
There is currently no way to get the waveform.
What version of TDAbleton are you using? There was a bug with level in the master track but latest releases should work.

Yeah the update helped. I can now get TDlevel data. I still strangely have a problem with the audio analyzer. It’s still not registering in TD. I had to reattach the TDlevels to the rack because they were missing, maybe that’s why.
It sounds like you might have missed some of the upgrade steps. Be sure to do everything listed here: TDAbleton - Derivative
Starting with a fresh file in TD an Ableton Live should also fix your issues.
