im getting messages saying duplicate names - the problem is i cannot change 3rd party plugins names inside ableton - when i click ignore it doesn’t ignore it - this message keeps popping up and it gets int he way quite a lot.
any ideas how to solve this?

If you want to set it to always ignore, there’s a parameter on the tdAbleton component called “Duplicate Names” that controls the response. You’ll have to watch out for the problems caused by this, where TouchDesigner has trouble distinguishing duplicates on the same level (duplicate track names, duplicate device names on the same chain, etc.)
thanks i’ll check that out. I think its calmed down a bit now, autofix fixes most, but in ableton you can’t rename thrid party plugs, but i think you might be able to get around it by grouping them and renaming the group.
