Hi I wanted to use midi note as a trigger from Ableton Live to TouchDesigner.
But It looked always delayed around 0.1-0.2 seconds in abletonMIDI on the same computer.
Anyone has the same issue and handles it?
Unfortunately there is always a small delay sending data from Live to TD. What you describe is on the long end, but can definitely happen especially if the computer is overloaded running Ableton sound and TD graphics. The most direct method of dealing with this is putting a similar delay on your Ableton sound output. Obviously this is painful in some situations (like when playing instruments live) but works well for playback oriented scenarios.
