TDBitwig - losing connection and control to bitwigTrack

I have a weird issue where my connection to bitwigTrack entities sometimes gets broken and I can neither receive any data (most importantly audio envelope data) from it, nor can I switch to another track via “Next/Prev Track” buttons (I made sure that"Pin Track” is disabled before trying to switch).

It happens both on local network projects inside the same computer and also when I connect 2 computers via ethernet (firewall off and “connected” confirmed in bitwigMain).

Sometimes deleting the bitwigTrack COMP and pulling in a new instance solves the problem for a short time, but this bug comes and goes randomly.

I use Touchdesigner version 2025.31760 on Windows 11 machines with the latest stable Bitwig version 5.3.13

In the case of two individual machines I also made sure that IP adresses and Submetworks are set up correctly and confirmed by pinging.

Hi @v.rtx_void,

trying to replicate this. When you say the bug is showing up randomly, does this happen when you work in Bitwig or when you work in TouchDesigner, or perhaps it’s also random that way?

cheers
Markus

It somehow is related to Touchdesigner, when I work in Bitwig everything is fine, but in Touchdesigner the pinned Track in bitwigTrack sometimes jumps to another track, which I can only see when I unpin the track in the COMP

Another thing that I realize: When I load a *.toe file, the pinned and assigned bitwigTrack COMP’s get mixed up, I have to manually unpin them in the COMP’s and reassign them to the correct tracks. This also happens when I close and open the Bitwig project, somehow Touchdesigner is mixing up the adresses
