Text input from a remote device (ie iPad etc)

Hi,
I am looking for a way to use an external device such as an iPad and be able to enter text on that is received by Touchdesigner.

I have been using TouchOSC to build UI’s to control various things via OSC, but there is no text input in TouchOSC I can find. I see that Lemur is currently unavailable. I am currently playing around with open Stage Control which seems to have a text input widget, and I am learning about websocket in TD.

Does anyone have any other options or thoughts / experience with Open Stage Control in terms of robustness, or should I just focus on learning websocket?

So after watching a few videos on websockets from Torin Blankensmith on Youtube - this definitley seems a good way to go about what I need
