Text Particles - Using particle systems to display text?

Hi!

Is there a way to create a particle system (like supermarket salad’s “Exploding Star - constraining a particle system to a sphere” and “Particle-based Fluid Simulation” or mini uv’s “2D Particle System with TOPs” tutorials {in this last one, flow fields are used}) were text can be incorporated and some particles would re-arrange themselves displaying text? I’m also aware of Tiwonku’s “Kinetic Particle Text in TouchDesigner” technique.

I’ve made some attempts with the different techniques (maybe I can share the projects)(and the more visual interesting is supermarket salad’s “Exploding Star - constraining a particle system to a sphere”), but the text morphing/ partilhe re-arranging part is not quite there yet, or the visual impact from a field of slow moving particles suddenly “attracting” themselfs to form text is lacking.

Hi @daltonicGoose,

not sure how many particles you are looking to control, but perhaps the “per-letter transform with phaser” OPSnippets for the Geo Text COMP can inspire a solution.

cheers
