First of all very glad that text POP is here! I’ve been extensively using specification DAT/CHOP on geo text COMP so I immediately tried on text POP, here is the result from the same specification DAT on both:
when I first added the specification DAT on the text POP, the first letter was overlapping the second and then the other appended correctly, and now they don’t append at all. Adding a specification CHOP with ltx for instance works, it just doesn’t append.
second thing, here it’s what it looks like when I add a new text POP, most of the time it gives the first resukt (which still looks weird, is this how the triangle output is supposed to look like? could we have a ‘surface’ option like on some other generators?) but some other time by adding a new one or coy pasting the operator there are some really unexpected — although beautiful — glitches.
Can’t wait to dive deeper, I’m really enjoying the line strip extrude POP too
