There is probably a fix for this as but I had to roll back to Release 2020.46540 for text tops to work on Mojave 10.14.6 would always get the same error “unable to load font xyz replacing with verdana” which also wouldn’t load.
Are you able to load fonts when you have the mode set to ‘Bitmap’, or does it fail for all of the modes?
