I have captured the moment on video.
We can’t reproduce this on our macs here. Did the mouse get stuck forever or just temporarily? What happens when you are playing forward on the timeline? Unfortunately we do not have a mac on High Sierra available for testing (But our Sierra and Mojave test machines work okay).
Finally could you give us a screengrab of your Mac’s specs (About this Mac) so we can know which machines might be effected.
@gnomalab I was able to reproduce this on a mac yesterday, but once I clicked on-off in the network editor the cursor came back to normal. Is this also what you experience?
Yes, but it happens again often. To recover it, change to another application and return to recover the mouse.
Does it happen less if the timeline is playing forward? I noticed in your video it is ‘paused’.
no, it happens exactly the same if it’s in play
