An odd question,
but is the Ableton time signature not available in the abletonSong comp? It seems like a strange oversight, given that there is a tempo read out, and that beats are coming in from Ableton. Maybe feature request? I suppose one could calculate at least the number of beats per bar from the beats coming in, but seems needless… Curious if there was a reason for this from the developers.
Wow I am also surprised I overlooked this! Embarrassingly, I think it might be related to my musical skills. Like, “people make music that’s not 4/4”? 
I will definitely put that in next build. And here’s a couple abletonComponents that will give you control of signature in the meantime. Took 5 minutes to build…

to be perfectly fair, its very possible that this file never leaves 4/4, but I was building a more general tool, and was curious!
