Timer CHOP become heavy with external CHOP channel

TimerCHOPWithExternalCHOP.toe (4.7 KB)

I discovered that the Timer CHOP becomes significantly heavy when its Time Control is set to External CHOP Channel. While the timer is running, performance is smooth, but once the Fraction reaches 1 and the timer is left idle, the system gradually becomes heavier over time.

In the attached file, I have included two versions side by side: one set to Locked to Timeline, and the other using External CHOP with me.time.seconds. When checking the Cook Time, it’s clear that the External CHOP version is considerably heavier.

I reported this bug previously, but it still hasn’t been fixed.
This issue is critical for installations and other long-term operations where precise sequence timing is required, so I strongly believe it should be fixed.
