CHOP Null / Cook type : Always is a pretty helpful option.
Can you add this in TOP Null too ?
Because now i create an animate alpha with little value too cook every frame…

If nothing upstream in its dependencies is changing, the TOP shouldn’t be cooking (unless it’s one of the ones that gets external input like Video Stream IN). You can try checking by locking and unlocking OPs that it depends on to see which of them is changing.
If the source is a render or somehow driven by another animated parameter, you can use a Cache TOP to stop the cooking. Using a combination of Cache, Difference and Analyze you should be able to automate this - only pass through an image if the content changed…

In a lot a situation a need the option to cook every frame on TOP family.
So in the the Null Top it’s a good place to have this option.
