TOP Viewer - Unwanted texture filtering / artifacts

Hi, I’m experiencing some issues displaying high frequency patterns like the checkerboard from this example, or this similar shader.

I noticed two problems: the viewer alters the original pattern in a regular way but also introduces some random artifacts depending on the zoom level of the network and the position of the TOP or the window, despite using Native Resolution as fillmode and Nearest Pixel as filtertype.

On the other hand, when exported the texture looks correct on an external viewer.

I think this is expected behavior with the TOP viewers.
