I wasn’t planning on buying updates yet, since I have had some big unexpected costs lately.
Is there a workaround by any chance? I would be happy to pay for updates if I’m sure that it fixes my problem, but otherwise it’s kind of a risk…

Yes of course. I opened my big file (with my liveshow system) and opening a duplicate pane and customizing a component from there immediately crashes TD.
Just to check, I also tried provoking a crash in an new document but this has the same result.

Also, today I tried running my system with an old crt tv as output.
When opening a window operator as a seperate window on the crt TV, Touchdesigner immediately crashes.
I’m using a hdmi to tulp converter.
Last week I was running my system with a projector as output and this was no problem at all.

It’s crashing in a Vulkan operation, and we’ll have a closer look.

Hey, can you try uninstalling OBS Studio, and see if that helps at all? It’s the one .dll I’m seeing from the .dmp file that is out of place.

The dmp file came from an empty project with 1 base that I tried to customize.
I have a duplicate pane open on a second monitor.

We are seeing this on other people’s computers as well. It’s not unique to you, but it is rare. Trying to get to the bottom of it.

Another idea. Have you tried uninstalling and installing the latest graphics drivers from www.nvidia.com?
