Is there a way to measure the distance between two people using Kinect 360, so that my visual in Touchdesigner changes when they get closer? Thank you for your help!
Hi @mentaltouch,
the Kinect CHOP will return the tx, ty, and tz channels for each detected “player” and utilizing the Math CHOP can be used to calculate the distance between them. After selecting the positions out into seperate branches, subtract both positions (“Combine CHOPs” parameter) and finally calculate the length of the result (“Combine Channels” parameter).
