Following Matthew Ragan’s tutorials, I have succesfully added my Midi Devices.
However i cannot manage to copy the mapping to a new project.
In my existing file:
I go to local → maps → Save component .tox
And then in my new file:
I go to local → maps → External .tox and point to the saved file
Am i doing something wrong?
Should the devices I already set appear in the MIDI Device Mapper after linking the external .tox?

The above is wrong. Parts of it are exactly the Midi Device Mapper. I prefer a different way.
This is what I do to move my Korg NanoKontrol2 mapping from project to project:
I map my device using the Midi Device Mapper menus. Then right click the device and Save Device. This will export a .tox file.
To load the .tox file into a new project:
I open the ‘Midi Device Mapper’ window and go to the ‘Devices’ Tab. Drag/Drop the .tox file into the upper left area with the list of devices.
Set up the newly imported device under the Device Mappings tab and now you should be ready to go.
