hey y’all, running POPs 4 since my license updates ran out.
I have been wanting to rotate an object around its Z axis variably, according to a sphere field. The rotation along z axis is not corresponding for some reason. This only seems to happen when i animate the transform with abstime.
Not that big of an issue, I have been getting around it by preemptively rotating my objects to another axis and then animating along X or Y, but kind of an annoying bug.
Again I am running POPs 4 so this may be resolved in the POPs 5 release
Hello @elugo
Could you please provide a sample file that demonstrates the issue?
Thanks

Thank you for the response! i tried to recreate the problem with some annotations. In recreating it I noticed that when I animate Y rotation it actually corresponds to rotating across my Z-axis.
Based on what I’m seeing in the sample file, it looks like the problem was related to a bug we fixed on the Transform POP for Alpha 5.
Ah! That makes total sense, another reason to renew license updates lol.
Thank you Guillame!
