Trim SOP, Project SOP and Profile SOP's fatal conspiracy.

I’ve been trying to work with profiles but got multiple crashes where all these SOPs fell under suspicion.

Attached are a number of .dmp files that may be related to this but maybe not all of them.

Are profiles working fine?

For example, in the Project SOP’s help page, the following example is given:

1.Place a Circle SOP - Type: NURBS, Radius: 0.3, 0.3; then place a Tube SOP - Type: NURBS.
2. Connect them into a Project SOP - Circle to Input1; Tube to Input2.
3. Append a Trim SOP to the Project SOP - it trims the surface according to the projection provided by the Project SOP. You need to append a Trim SOP to a Project SOP in order to realise this trimming action.
4. Enable the template flags on the Circle and Tube SOPs; make the Project SOP the display SOP.

In the attached .tox, these steps were followed, but the trimming does not occur.

Salut

Profile curves and any such CHOP that requires them are not working right now. Its been a known bug for a while but it has been deemed low priority (and possibly not an easy fix). Like they say, “the squeaky wheel gets the grease”, so thanks for reporting this, you just made it a higher priority!
