Hey all, I spoke to Jarrett about this a while back - it would be great to get a super basic hello world .toe file on how these components are intended to work together. I don’t really even need a step by step, but just an example file that shows what it can do and the right way to do it.

Also, while I am thinking of it, sideFX has a nice feature in their docs that lets you load example files that use the operator right in the doc page for that op, might be a feature to consider adding, especially if it is open to the community to add example files as well.

In terms of your first request,
Have you looked at the Sequencer CHOP?
Its a much more streamlined, DAT driven version of what you’re looking for.
And its documented:

yes, that might be interesting to use. I ask mainly out of curiosity, to see what extras I get with my Pro licenses (besides privacy, which seems like the biggie)
